Fireside Chat:
‘The Power of Reciprocity: How investing in women advances operational excellence and organisational performance’
In an industry where performance, resilience, and innovation shape long‑term sustainability, the question is no longer why we should invest in women, but how much we all gain when we do. Inspired by the 2026 International Women’s Day theme, Give to Gain,’ this fireside chat explores how simple, intentional acts of support such as offering opportunity, visibility, knowledge‑sharing, and advocacy can create meaningful gains across teams and operations. The Give to Gain framing is broadly derived from and aligned to the UN’s holistic approach, particularly around collective action, shared responsibility, and dismantling structural barriers through everyday behaviours, leadership choices and systems change.
When organisations give generously, opportunities for women grow, and the positive effects impact safety, culture, and overall performance. This conversation sets the tone for the evening, highlighting how reciprocity strengthens workplaces and how everyday actions from individuals and organisations can spark real, lasting, and reciprocal progress. It’s an invitation to reflect on what becomes possible when we create space for women to thrive, and how everyone rises as a result.
This is an in-person event and will not be available virtually.
