WIM (UK) 14th March Event – Addressing Environmental, Social and Governance Issues in Mining

We often hear about the negative impacts of mining on the environment and communities yet more and more, mining projects are integrating best practice in addressing Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) issues.

WIM(UK) has partnered with Moore Stephens to present a forward-looking panel session that brings together industry specialists from a variety of ESG backgrounds with extensive experience in implementing best practice ESG solutions.

The panel will look at drivers for consideration of ESG in mining projects, identify typical issues faced by mining companies and discuss successful approaches to resolving ESG issues, with a focus on projects in emerging economies.
