November 27, 2019 at 17:00 - 18:30
Networking Drinks and Scholarship Raffle in Partnership with Mines and Money London
Join us at 5pm on Wednesday 27 November at Mines and Money London for networking drinks kindly sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills. We will also be holding our annual Scholarship Raffle. The winner will be announced during the drinks reception.
Please note you will need to buy a £10 raffle ticket to come to the drinks. Raffle tickets will be on sale at our stand throughout the conference and at the drinks reception.
The raffle prize is kindly donated by Resolute Mining (www.rml.com.au) and is an all-expenses paid trip to visit one of the most advanced gold mines in the world – Resolute’s flagship, Syama Gold Mine in Mali.
This will include a tour of the automated Syama Underground Mine and the Automation Control Centre, a trip to the Tabakoroni Open Pit Mine and a tour of the processing plant, camp and other site facilities.
Alongside the trip, (including return airfares, accommodation and 2 days on site and date to be agreed between the winner and Resolute), the winner will also receive a Fortnum and Mason gift basket.
100% of the proceeds will go towards funding a scholarship for a female student at Camborne School of Mines MSc Mining Engineering course.
