UK Mining Conference in Cornwall

The UK Mining Conference in Cornwall is back for another year. Proudly created by Cornish Lithium in 2019, this event has grown to be one of the most important sustainable mining, investment and energy innovation conferences in the UK.

Held immediately before the International Sea Shanty Festival in Falmouth, it brings together like-minded people to celebrate, and deliberate upon the UK supply of critical minerals and the renewable energy transition, all fundamental factors in meeting the government’s target of net zero by 2050.

With activities spanning a total of four days, there are ample opportunities for site visits, networking suppers and specialist meeting forums.

The mining industry is pivotal in securing the country’s mineral supplies, with its pioneering methods to re-work mines in Cornwall and develop systems for discoveries in other parts of the country. Meet the explorers, sustainability experts and future miners.

We extract minerals and metals to provide for the world’s growing population, from fertilisers for increased crop production, aggregates for construction to metals for transport and communication technology.
