Title: UK Mining Conference in Cornwall
Dates: 12th/13th June
Location: The Princess Pavilion, 41 Melvill Road, Falmouth, Cornwall. TR11 4AR
Following the success of the UK Mining Conference in 2023, we are once again delighted to be offering a professional event while embracing Cornish culture at venues within walking distance of Falmouth town centre.
The Conference will be held over 2 days, with speaker sessions starting at 10:00am on Wednesday 12 June 2024 and finishing at 4.45pm on Thursday 13 June 2024.
This year’s Conference & Exhibition will return to the historic Princess Pavilion utilising the 320-capacity theatre, vibrant café and beautiful Gyllyngdune Gardens.
The Gala Dinner will also be held in the Princes Pavilion with traditional Cornish food and drink, with an after-dinner show (written & produced by Will Coleman of Golden Tree Productions).
High-profile delegates include investors, brokers, operators and mining supply chain. It’s an excellent opportunity to network and/or present to an influential audience.
With so much activity in the UK mining industry and in particular Cornwall, we are preparing for a very popular event. With the world’s insatiable demand for technology metals such as lithium, copper, tin, tungsten, cobalt as well as minerals to increase food production and provide housing and infrastructure for an ever-growing population, the industry is booming.
This Conference will highlight the opportunities to responsibly extract the abundance of metals and minerals in the UK, recap on the work undertaken so far and illustrate the potential investment opportunities that lie ahead.
Presenters will also demonstrate the importance of the growth and resurgence of the mining industry to the UK’s economy.
There will be four days of activities; from site visits to traditional Cornish food and ale.
