MetFest Seminar,Delprat Lecture& Branch Dinner

WIMnet Tasmania invite you to attend the AusIMM Tasmania Branch and the Metallurgical Society events on Friday, 12 October and will include a one day seminar, a video screening of the Delprat Lecture Series, with Prof. Geoffrey Lainey, and the Joint Tasmania Branch and MetSoc dinner. WIM Tasmania will be launching its inaugural Mentoring Program to commence in February 2019 at the Joint Tasmania Branch and MetSoc dinner. Potential mentors and mentees are welcome to attend the dinner to find out more about the program and how it will operate next year.
Event: Joint AusIMM Tasmania Branch and MetSoc Seminar 9:00 am -3:30 pm: Speakers are invited from all Tasmanian mines, minerals processing facilities, covering all aspects of mineral processing, smelting and refining, research and development in geometallurgy, and pyrometallurgy to present.
Event: Delprat Lecture Series-Video Presentation 4:00pm-5:00pm. This distinguished lecture series is coming to Tasmania. This will be a video screening of Prof Blainey’s Delprat lecture at Pier One after the seminar.
Event: Joint Tasmania Branch and MetSoc Dinner 6:00pm pre-dinner drinks for 6:30pm dinner. Following on from the days events a joint dinner will be held at Pier One . This event is open to all including partners.
