Mayer Brown in partnership with Women in Mining: Ethics and Compliance in the Mining Sector.
You are cordially invited for a fireside chat with Audrey Harris, partner at international law firm Mayer Brown based in Washington DC and co-chair of its Global Anti-Corruption & FCPA practice.
Until last year Audrey served as the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for global resources company BHP Billiton. Audrey will discuss common issues faced by mining companies in complying with the proliferation of regulatory hurdles related to anti-corruption, transparency, export controls, trade sanctions and investigations and the importance of safeguarding integrity by preventing, mitigating and investigating compliance risks in these areas and setting ethical standards.
Audrey will be joined by London-based Mayer Brown partners, Rachel Speight, from the firm’s Banking & Finance practice focusing on mining, and Sam Eastwood from the Anti-Corruption practice.
