London, 13 November 2017 – Women in Mining UK (“WIM UK”) is pleased to announce that it has appointed WIM UK member Calliope Lalousis to lead its newly created Partnerships and Finance Committee, effective immediately. Nichole McCulloch, Managing Director WIM UK, said: “The work we do as an organization that promotes the development of women in the mining industries could not be delivered without the generous and ongoing support of our many sponsors and partners, who not only support us financially, but also through their senior advice, research, publishing partnerships, people and facilities. I am very pleased that Calliope has accepted to take on this important role as we continue to formalize and build on our successful partnership model.”
